How to Change or Reset Your Password for the SiteMinder Channel Manager

Steps to Reset Your Password

1. Go to the Login Page:

   • Visit the SiteMinder Channel Manager login page.
2. Enter your E-mail address.
   • After entering your e-mail address click on Next.

3. Click on Forgot Password:

   • On the login screen, click the Forgot Password link.

4. Enter Your Email Address:

   • Enter the email address associated with your account, then click on Send.

5. Check Your Email:

   • Open the email with a link to reset your password. Click on the link or copy it to your browser. Be sure to check your spam or junk folder if you don’t see the email in your inbox.

6. Create a New Password:

   • Enter your New Password and confirm it by entering it again.

7. Click Save:

   • Once you’ve confirmed your new password, click Reset password to complete the process.

8. Log Back In:

   • After saving, you will be redirected to the login screen where you can use your new password to log in.
9. Note:
   • The password reset link in your e-mail is valid for 24 hours
   • The password reset link will automatically expire when another reset link is requested

Password Guidelines

To ensure the security of your account, please follow these password requirements:

• Minimum length: 12 characters
• Contains both: upper and lower case letters
• Includes at least: one number
• Different from: your last four passwords

Password Best Practices:

• Hard to guess: Avoid common words or predictable sequences.
• Avoid personal information: Do not include personal details like your username, date of birth, or family members' names.

Keep Your Password Secure:

• Do not share: Never share your password with anyone.
• Avoid writing it down: Don't store passwords in insecure places like notes or emails.
• Be cautious: Be wary of anyone asking for your password for troubleshooting purposes.
• If you believe your password is compromised, change it immediately.

Note:

You will be required to change your password every 90 days.
