How to Copy an Existing Rate in Hoteliers.com Dashboard

This guide explains how to manually copy an existing rate and make necessary adjustments in the Hoteliers.com dashboard.

1. Manual "Copy an Existing Rate"

To copy an existing rate, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Content Management:

   • Go to Content Management in the Hoteliers.com dashboard.

2. Select the Room:

   • Under the Rooms section, click on the name of the room where you want to copy an existing rate.

3. Copy the Rate:

   • At the top right of the page, you will see a list of created rates.
   • Click on Copy Data next to the rate you wish to copy.
   • The copied rate will be added under the same room and can be identified by the word COPY added to the rate's name.

4. Edit the Copied Rate:

   • Click on the copied rate to make changes.
   • Remove the - COPY suffix from the Internal rate name.
   • Verify and adjust the Online rate name, Rate Short description, and Rate cancellation policy as needed.
   • Click Save to apply the changes.

Note: Changes must first be entered and saved in English before they can be adjusted in other languages.

1. Move the Rate to Another Room (Optional):
   • If you want to move the copied rate to a different room, use the dropdown menu at Room to select the desired room.

Important Considerations

• Price, Availability, and Restrictions:

  • When copying a rate, the new rate will inherit the prices, availability, and restrictions of the original rate.
  • If the copied rate needs different prices, availability, or restrictions, set Show rate? to No initially. This prevents the rate from being visible and bookable in the booking engine until you make the necessary adjustments.

• Channel Manager Integration:

  • If your hotel uses a channel manager, link the copied rate to ensure accurate prices, availability, and restrictions are sent to the channels.
  • If you do not use a channel manager, manage the rate manually under Rates and Availability.

• Making the Rate Bookable:

  • Once the prices, availability, and restrictions have been correctly set, change Show rate? to Yes to make the rate bookable in the booking engine.
