I have a reservation delivery error, what does it mean? (only when connected with OHDCS)
Sometimes a reservation cannot be forwarded from SmartHOTEL to OHDCS and you cannot resubmit the reservation. Often this is due to an error. In this article, you learn how you can solve the error and resubmit the reservation.
As an example, an overview of the reservation screen in SmartHOTEL. In the right end column, you will see the reservation delivery error. Examples of errors are: ''Room Unavailable'', ''Room Restricted'' and ''Invalid Room Category''.
Most common errors and how you can fix them;
This error is a response from myfidelio/OHDCS and it is returned when any of the following issues are found on the rate code in their system.
1. The room is not distributed to the booked rate
2. There is no rate detail for this room on the booked date
3. Rate detail is missing for 1 & 2 person pricing
4. The Dynamic Base Rate calculation on the "More" tab is not filled in
INVALID RATE CODE/INVALID ROOM CATEGORY
This usually means that the rate is not distributed to the booked room or there is no rate detail for this room on the booked date.
RESTRICTION ON CANCEL OR MODIFY
This error is a response from myfidelio/OHDCS and it is returned when there is a booking policy in place within myfidelio on the booked rate that will not allow the booking to be amended or cancelled. Please modify or cancel the booking directly in OPERA
