      "Manage Bookings" Login Button in the Booking Engine

      A "Manage Bookings" login button has been added to the top right corner of the Hoteliers.com booking engine. This feature allows guests to easily view and manage their bookings directly from your website.

      Key Features of "Manage Bookings"

      1. Login via Booking Engine:
        Guests can log in via the booking engine on your website to view their booking details.

      2. View Booking Details:
        Guests will be able to see most details of their reservation.

      3. Cancel Bookings:
        If the booked rate allows cancellations (set to "Rate can be cancelled"), guests can cancel their reservation themselves.

      Limitations

      At this time, the following is not possible:

      • Guests cannot modify their booking. To make changes, guests can either:
        • Cancel their booking and make a new one, or
        • Contact the hotel directly.

      Benefits of the New Feature

      • This feature encourages guests to make bookings, as they have the flexibility to cancel their reservation themselves if it falls within the allowed cancellation deadline.
      • It will save time for the hotel by reducing the need for phone calls and emails related to booking cancellations.

      Your Action is Required for Activation

      To enable this feature, follow these steps:

      1. Log in to your Hoteliers.com dashboard at dashboard.hoteliers.com.
      2. Go to Content Management.
      3. Click on the rate name in the left menu bar and review the following settings for each rate:
        • Rate can be cancelled (yes/no).
        • Booking must be cancelled X days prior to arrival.
      4. After reviewing, go to Settings > Bookings Engine > White Label Settings in your dashboard.
      5. Set Show account login for guests to cancel to Yes.
      6. Save your settings.

      Testing the Feature

      You can test the "Manage Bookings" feature by making a test booking yourself. A password will be included in your booking confirmation, allowing you to log in and view the booking details online.
