      Add a new corporate rate in your booking engine

      In this article we explain which corporate rates you can add to the Corporate Module in your Booking Engine.

      In the Corporate Module you can add 3 different types of corporate rates. The 3 options are:

      1. A discount code with linked availability
      2. A fixed rate with linked availability
      3. A protected rate with own availability


      1. A discount code with linked availability

      With this option you can, for example, give your guests a code when checking out, to book with a discount next time. Other examples are: placing a pop-up with the code on your own website, mentioning the code in a newsletter or distributing the code with another promotion.

      With this option you can set the discount at an existing rate of your choice. The price and availability are taken from the existing rate. The set discount, a fixed amount or a percentage, is automatically calculated on the existing rate.

      2. A fixed rate with linked availability

      When you have spoken with a company in the area and agreed a fixed price, you can use this option. With this corporate rate employees of the company can reserve a room at the fixed price and by means of a promotional code as long as there is availability at the linked rate.

      You can then create a separate corporate rate with own promotional code for each company.

      3. A protected rate with own availability

      You can use this option when guests want to book hotel rooms in combination with an event. An example of this is a wedding where 20 rooms are being held (this is called allotment). Wedding guests can book with their own code for the agreed price, until all 20 rooms have been booked.
