What is the Rate Access Code?

The Rate Access Code (RAC) is the GDS-code of the company rate.

One code or different codes per GDS

This code can be the same code for the different GDS-systems (such as Amadeus, Sabre, etc.) or can be a different code per GDS. Therefore, it is important that the correct instructions are attached to the loading request.

Length of the Rate Access Code

The usual length of an Rate Access Code (RAC) in all GDS systems is 3 digits, as in the above example. The only exception is the length of an Rate Access Code in Galileo, which can have up to 6 digits.
