      Bulk Updating Extra Bed Rates in Hoteliers.com

      The bulk update tool in the Hoteliers.com dashboard allows you to efficiently update extra bed charges across all rates and packages at once. This guide will explain how to use the tool and how to set extra bed charges for individual rates if needed.

      Bulk Updating Extra Bed Rates

      The bulk update tool can be used to update extra bed rates for all existing rates and packages simultaneously.

      How to Use the Bulk Update Tool:

      1. Set Age Ranges:

        • Define the age ranges for baby beds or child beds.

      2. Set Charges and Maximum Extra Beds:

        • Enter the extra bed charge and specify the maximum number of extra beds that can be offered.

      3. No Beds for Certain Groups:

        • If no extra beds are offered for babies, children, or adults, select No.

      4. Update All Rates and Packages:

        • To apply the changes to all rates and packages, check the box labeled Update extra bed rates of all rates and packages. This will override any existing extra bed rates.

      5. Save Your Changes:

        • Once you’re sure of your settings, click Save.

      Note: Be cautious when using the bulk update tool, as it will override all existing extra bed rates once they are live.

      Setting Extra Bed Charges for Individual Rates

      After using the bulk update tool, you can fine-tune or deactivate extra bed charges for specific rates or packages.

      To Set Extra Bed Charges for Individual Rates or Packages:

      1. Log in to the Hoteliers.com Dashboard and navigate to Content Management.

      2. Click on the rate name or package name that you want to adjust.

      3. Set Age Ranges:

        • Define the age ranges for baby beds or child beds.

      4. Set Charges and Maximum Beds:

        • Enter the extra bed charge and the maximum number of extra beds available for that rate or package.

      5. No Beds for Certain Groups:

        • If no extra beds are offered for certain groups (babies, children, or adults), select No.

      6. Save Your Changes:

        • Click Save to apply the changes.

      Note: Extra bed charges cannot be set if the price of a corporate rate or package is connected to another rate.
