Emails from Onyx CenterSource with reservation statements and commission payments
We regularly receive queries from hotels about e-mails they receive from Onyx CenterSource, the system in which Travel Agent commission payments are handled. Monthly, these statements are automatically sent to hotels.
The emails have the following layout:
The email contains an attachment with an overview of all reservations and commissions payable to Onyx CenterSource. These are bookings made through different parties.
Some of the GDS bookings are handled by SmartHOTEL (hoteliers.com)/RecOnline if hotels are connected through SmartHOTEL (hoteliers.com)/RecOnline with the GDS connector.
These reservations never need to be paid via any other party than SmartHOTEL (hoteliers.com)/RecOnline.
You pay them via the monthly invoice you receive via SmartHOTEL (Hoteliers.com) and we take care of the correct remittance.
You can recognize these GDS reservations in the list by the 3 letters in front of them starting with AMA, GAL, SAB.
All other reservations in the list are separate from SmartHOTEL (hoteliers.com)/RecOnline and have not been made through SmartHOTEL (hoteliers.com)/RecOnline's systems. We advise you to look up these reservations in your booking system and write to the booking party through whom this reservation was received.
