How do I send a refresh to an OTA?

A refresh is needed when there is a discrepancy or a new connection. In both situations, there is data (availability, rates, restrictions) in Smarthotel that is not (correctly displayed) at the booking site yet.

Step 1. 
in your channel manager navigate to management and choose refresh:

A new page will open where you can click on the dancing arrows to open the refresh page:

Now you can choose the OTA you would like to send refresh to:

Step 2.

Choose the rates you would like to refresh by ticking the box in front.

In the right column you can choose:

  • which data you would like to send: rates, availability or restrictions
  • for which time period you would like to send the data (maximum 3 months at the time)
  • when you would like the refresh to take place

Step 3.

Check if your refresh was successful via the monitor tab:

green= successful

red= error

orange= in queue

Step 4.

If the dot shows RED: click on the message

You can filter on Error

And click on the message again. 
If you now choose the response message, there will be an explanation on why we are receiving the error:
