How does Smart Payments work for SmartIBE?

Should you have a contract for Smart Payments then we can link this to your SmartIBE.

 

We can take credit card guarantees, deposits and full pre-payment, all depending on how your payment method is set up on your rates.

 

Should your hotels' PMS be connected via SmartCONNECT we will be able to deliver the payment directly onto the reservation in your system (supported PMS's only).

 

If your hotels' PMS is connected via the Smart Channel Manager then we can send you an email when a payment has been received.  The payment will not deliver directly into your reservation system.

 

In the payment studio you will be able to see all authorizations from your Guaranteed bookings and Captures from the bookings that require pre-payment. Should the payment be declined this will also show as well and you will need to follow up with the guest directly to take payment.

You also have access to Adyen who are the Payment Provider. A link would have been emailed to you to verify your user. Should you need a new link then please let us know.
