How to Change or Reset Your Password for the SiteMinder Channel Manager

If you've forgotten your password or need to reset it for the SiteMinder Channel Manager, follow the steps below to create a new one.

Steps to Reset Your Password

  1. Go to the Login Page:

  2. Click on Forgot Password:

    • On the login screen, click the Forgot Password link.
  3. Enter Your Email Address:

    • Input the email address associated with your account.
  4. Request Password Reset:

    • Click Send Password Reset Email. You will receive an email with instructions and a unique password reset link.
  5. Check Your Email:

    • Open the email and follow the instructions provided. Be sure to check your spam or junk folder if you don’t see the email in your inbox.
  6. Create a New Password:

    • Use the link from the email to open the password reset page.
    • Enter your New Password and confirm it by entering it again.
  7. Click Save:

    • Once you’ve confirmed your new password, click Save to complete the process.
  8. Log Back In:

    • After saving, you will be redirected to the login screen where you can use your new password to log in.

Password Guidelines

To ensure the security of your account, please follow these password requirements:

  • Minimum length: 8 characters
  • Contains both: Upper and lower case letters
  • Includes at least: One number
  • Different from: Your last four passwords

Password Best Practices:

  • Hard to guess: Avoid common words or predictable sequences.
  • Avoid personal information: Do not include personal details like your username, date of birth, or family members' names.

Keep Your Password Secure:

  • Do not share: Never share your password with anyone.
  • Avoid writing it down: Don't store passwords in insecure places like notes or emails.
  • Be cautious: Be wary of anyone asking for your password for troubleshooting purposes.

If you believe your password is compromised, change it immediately.

You will be required to change your password every 90 days.
