Synonyms for the word Restriction: booking rules
Restrictions is an umbrella term for several types of booking rules. Below is an overview of the types of restrictions SmartHOTEL supports:
- Open/close restriction: there is still availability, but you don't want a guest to book a certain rate. You can use the close restriction for this.. When you want to open a closed rate, you can use an open restriction to make the rate bookable again.
- Minimum/Maximum Stay restriction: these restrictions will ensure that a guest can only book for a certain minimum or maximum amount of days when arriving that day.
- Closed to arrival restriction: a guest cannot arrive on a certain date. This can be useful when, for example, you know that there is no housekeeping that day.
- Closed to departure restriction: the guest cannot depart on a certain date. For example: you want the guest to arrive on Friday, and leave on Sunday (minimum stay of 2) and you don't want it to be possible to leave on Saturday already.
Please note that it differs per OTA, what restrictions are supported between SmartHOTEL and the OTA Curious in which OTA connection, what is supported?
