What payment options do I have?

Should you be using Smart Payments we are able to process payment at the time of booking, depending on how the payment type is set up on your rates.  It is also possible to send Payment Links to the guests at a later stage.

If you aren't using Smart Payments then we will simply take the guests card details at the time of booking

In the rate set up we can configure your Payment Type.

  1. None – no payment or card details requested
  2. In hotel – The card details will be taken but no payment authorisation taken.
  3. Deposit – You can define how much will be taken from the card on check out (by amount or percentage of the reservation total)
  4. Guaranteed – The card details will be authorised
  5. Non Refundable - You can define how much will be taken from the card on check out (by percentage of the reservation total)
  6. Pay now or Pay later - guests can chose whether they'd like to pay for the booking up front or guarantee by card only
  7. Pay now or Pay In Hotel - guests can chose whether they'd like to pay for the booking up front or pay at the hotel.  This option will not take credit card details for guarantee

Sending payment links from the Smart Booking Engine

If you're using Smart Payments with your Booking Engine, you can send payment links to guests who haven't completed payment at checkout. These links can be scheduled to send:

  • A specific number of days after the booking is made, or

  • A specific number of days before the guest's arrival.

This feature helps you manage outstanding payments more efficiently and ensures guests have an easy way to pay before they arrive.
